“This really is five star”

Reviewed 10 August 2014

"This beautifully designed, modern building is the home of Ginny and Neal who gave us a great welcome. Our room was large, comfortable, beautifully appointed with a view down to Lough Swilly. We were given all the information we needed to find a place to dine and to see us off in the right direction the next morning after a superb breakfast. Five stars is hardly enough for this gem."

“Luxurious, modern B&B”

Reviewed 26 July 2014

"My partner and myself stayed at Moorfield Lodge for two nights in June and were blown away! The house itself is ultra-modern with loads of glass so everywhere feels bright, with great views out over the countryside. As well as beautiful, the location is peaceful and quiet. Ginny and Neal were really friendly, helpful hosts and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable."

“beautiful”

"stunning, modern property surrounded by real Ireland! Relaxing atmosphere created and encouraged on arrival and through the whole stay. Room was pristine and tastefully decorated throughout. Breakfast was fantastic and Ginny and Neil have great local knowledge to share! Would give 6 points if possible!"

“Super location when playing links courses in Donegal”

Reviewed 28 April 2014

"We stayed in contemporary Moorfield lodge for a week whilst playing golf every day on a variety of beautiful links courses. We slept in the "spa" room which is huge and contains everything necessary for a good nights rest. The bathroom with a large jacuzzi and super towels is really luxurious. The breakfast prepared by Ginny who runs the B&B has a high standard and varies (by choice) between full-irish and crepes filled with fruit to scrambled eggs with fresh salmon. As a breakfast starter there is choice between granola, fresh fruit and other options. We certainly plan to go back here what a lovely place."
